The large thatch roof compliments this appearance and creates a tranquil African bush-veld atmosphere. ???Our immaculate landscaped garden is evergreen and our salt chlorinated swimming pool is solar heated for all year round enjoyment. A variety of wild birds frequent our tranquil garden. We offer an ADSL connection to the internet and guests have access to the full DSTV bouquet in every suite. Our guests will never be inconvenienced by power outages, as we have generators to back up our electricity supply. The parking facilities are off-street and secure. Bird Haven Lodge is conveniently situated with easy access to N1 Highway, Clearwater Mall and Northgate Shopping Centre, various restaurants, Virgin Active Gyms, Wilgeheuwel Hospital and Flora Clinic. Bird Haven Lodge offers 3 luxurious suites namely Eagle, Bateleur, and Osprey The spacious “Eagle Suite” is on the upper level. A combination of cane and wood furniture enhances the rustic appearance created by the high pitched thatch roof. The suite is fitted with luxury wall-to-wall carpets, and heavy fully lined drapes. The luxury en-suite bathroom is fitted with an oval bath, spacious shower and large vanity area with mirrors. Wooden French doors open onto a 30m2 tiled veranda which offers a breathtaking view over the northern suburbs of Johannesburg. The versatile “Bateleur Suite” is on the upper level, and has a stunning view over the northern suburbs of Johannesburg, similar to that of the Eagle suite. ??This suite is furnished with an extra length king size bed, and two extra length single beds. It can be used for single or sharing occupation and is perfect for a family of four. The "Osprey Suite" on the ground floor is equally luxurious. ??Decorated in the same style as the Eagle & Bateleur suites, the calm rustic atmosphere is extended here. ? Conference facility We offer a 12-seater boardroom facility. ?This venue is ideally suited for conducting an off-site meeting in a peaceful environment, away from the interruptions at the office. ?2 Double doors open onto a large veranda overlooking the pool and garden. ?Access to the boardroom is directly from the driveway with ample secure parking space. Apart from our fellow South Africans, a variety of different nationalities, have enjoyed the hospitality at Bird Haven Lodge. We have hosted 22 different nationalities in the past year and a half.
