Abbots Cove B&B offers 10 en-suite bedrooms, each with private entrance and tea and coffee-making facilities. Our rooms are tastefully, comfortably furnished, and include selected DStv.

A full English breakfast is served in the dining room, with dinners by request. The rooms are serviced daily and laundry services can be arranged on request.

Other features include dedicated secure parking with electronic access control, a swimming pool, barbecue facilities, air-conditioning, and free wireless Internet from 08h00 to 22h00.

I was expecting to pay R100 less, as quoted, because we chose not to have breakfast. But was charged the full amount. We were right next to the kitchen and there was a lot of noise. Walls a bit thin between us and someone next door making coffee. Hot water came out in spurts and didn't work at all when the cold was turned on. There was also an electrical plug which was falling off the well, a little bit dangerous with my two kids. I think our room just needed some tlc.
