This double-storey, Tuscan-style family home stands on an elevated acre overlooking the entire Noordhoek valley, across the Cape Peninsula Nature Reserve from Chapman's Peak on the right, through to Kommetjie and The Lakes on the left. Peace and quiet are the order of the day, with eagles, guinea fowl and Geese roaming the area.

The indoor and outdoor flow of this luxury villa is ideal. The two lounges, open-plan but separate dining room, TV room with plasma screen, DStv, DVD and surround sound, large gourmet kitchen with separate scullery and laundry, and the kids play room all having direct access to lawned gardens with large heated swimming pool, heated kids plunge pool, Jacuzzi and entertainment pool room with bar and built-in gas and wood barbecue.

There are four large double bedrooms upstairs, the master suite with a full en-suite bathroom and change room, while the fifth room is currently being used as a kids playroom downstairs, with a separate bathroom and toilet. Features includ three bathrooms and three toilets, porcelain floor tiles, granite kitchen, travertine marble showers and imported finishes.

The house is ideally located for easy access to beautiful beaches, including Long Beach, various restaurants, cafes, shops, farm stalls, golf courses, hiking, walking and mountain biking trails, horse riding on the beach, Cape Point and Cape of Good Hope, Boulders Beach and the penguin colony, wine routes, Longbeach Mall, Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens and Hout Bay, with Cape Town and Table Mountain only 30 minutes' drive away.

A garage for three cars and plenty of off-street parking around the driveway is provided. Security is splendid, with an electric fence and a sophisticated external and internal 24-hour response linked alarm system for peace of mind.

This vacation rental is only available over most school holidays and over December and early weeks in January it is let to a minimum of six people for a minimum of 14 nights, the villa is very suited to kids of all ages.
