Situated in Bellairs Drive, North Riding, with tranquil gardens and ample bird life, it is the ideal location for business travellers and tourist alike. We are securely surrounded by townhouse complexes on all sides, a landscaped paradise in the middle of new developments.

Accommodation at the Blue Crane Lodge is designed to make you feel right at home, with great privacy, gorgeous gardens, and unique, colourful decor.

Breakfast is served in our sunny dining room during the the warmer seasons and in winter we have a lovely warm wood fireplace.

A selection of cereals, fresh fruit salad, yoghurt, coffee and toast are available whilst we prepare your choice of cooked breakfast.

Enjoy a sun-downer on your own private patio, before exploring the ample restaurants and night life in the area.

A home-cooked dinner can be provided in your room by prior arrangement. The rooms have a fridge, microwave, and tea/coffee facilities for your convenience. All the rooms are double en suite, and have individual private entrances. They are tastefully decorated with original paintings by the artist Debbie Joy. The rooms are equipped with fans or air conditioners, electric heaters, TV's with individual satellite access and hairdryers. All rooms have access to complimentary WiFi and should we have the misfortune of a power outage, we are equipped with a generator to ensure as little inconvenience as possible.

We regret no children or pets are allowed.

The lodge is close to numerous restaurants, Fourways Mall, Northgate Mall, a number of business parks and tourist attractions. Nearby attractions include the entertainment hub of Monte Casino, an indoor Tuscan-styled village consisting of many restaurants, an up-market casino, theater, retail stores, & the fascinating bird park.

With in a short drive you can find The Lion Park, boasting a wide array of wildlife; and Lesedi Cultural Village, an exciting showcase of African Culture. Our staff at the Blue Crane Lodge are always willing to assist you in organising a tour of Johannessburg, including: Soweto, the Sterkfontein Caves and Wonder Caves, Voortrekker Monument, The Cradle of Humankind, The Parliament Buildings and many other exciting historical attractions that Johannesburg and the surrounding areas have to offer.
