Description
Located up in the Drakensberg mountains, nestled amongst countless azaleas and huge shady trees in Champagne valley, two exclusive cosy cottages, one sleeps two and the other four; each bedroom has a full bathroom. The Cottages offer comforts such as electric blankets, fan, lounge/dining with fireplace, covered patios, braai facilities and spectacular views.

The two cottages differ; the two bedrooms unit has the superior Mountain View plus a splash pool on the patio and DStv is included. The one bedroom cottage has the same facilities, except you need to bring your own DStv card; we have a dish and a decoder.

All mod cons with RCI imperial grading equivalent to four stars, international TV and broadband Internet connection, peaks soar above tumbling waterfalls, deep river valleys, crystal pools, indigenous forests, caves and floral splendour peak flowering of over 100 Azaleas September and October.

Walk the well-known hiking trails from your front door; close to famous canopy tour, horse riding, birds of prey displays, river rafting, archery, guided walks and drives, go-carting, helicopter flips, several restaurants, Drakensberg Boys Choir Wednesday concerts only four hours’ drive from Johannesburg, and just over two from Durban; tarred all the way.

Ideal for groups of friends or small families Lovely position in the mountains with spectacular views and beautiful gardens. Cottage fully furnished with comfortable couches. Beds adequate: the king size is two singles pushed together and would benefit greatly by the addition of a mattress top; the middle is uncomfortable otherwise. Kitchen well equipped.<div><br /></div><div>NOTE: bring your own soap; none is provided, although all linen and towels are. Bring ALL foodstuffs that you will need (no complimentary tea, coffee or sugar). Luckily there are convenience stores a few minutes' drive away.</div><div><br /></div><div>The owners are friendly, obliging and full of information. The area is full of places to go and things to do.</div>
