Naara Eco-Lodge and Spa in Chidenguele
Description |
|
Located behind the sand dunes of the Indian Ocean, in the coastline of Mozambique, you will find Naara Eco-Lodge and Spa - a luxury lodge and adventure heaven.
This exclusive paradise offers 10 Luxury Safari Tents which are surrounded by the African indigenous bush and overlook the calm waters of the Nhambavale Lake. These tents are built by mixing canvas tents and walls with large wooden doors allowing guests to feel the nature. Each tent is decorated with imported Balinese furniture and is furnished with a king-size bed and protected by a mosquito net. The tents are strategically placed so that all have beautiful views but still ensures privacy for the guests. They have covered verandahs which are furnished with comfortable sofas. The indoor en-suite facilities open to private secluded gardens where outdoor showers are found.
Not only does the calm, expansive lake serve as a tranquil and picturesque backdrop for the lodge, it also offers guests entertainment in the form of swimming, fresh water fishing, kayaking, windsurfing and kitesurfing. Birding, horse riding and community walks are also on offer, as well as the full moon rise walk which is a must to experience.
The ocean is close at hand with the unspoilt beach of Chidenguele located 2 km away. A wide variety of fish and other marine species live in the warm waters of Mozambique, turning its coasts into ideal deep fishing, snorkelling and diving safari destinations. Guests can either sunbathe by the water or take part in some of the activities on offer.
For dining, the lodge has developed fine recepies that merge local ingredients with concepts of international cuisine. While enjoying fine meals, guests can appreciate the superb views of the Nhambavale Lake. Guests may also dine privately at their own verandah or on full moon nights, dine on the pier overlooking the rising moon.
Built on top of a rustic wooden platform, Natura Spa gives the impression of floating on the waters of the lake. More than massages are offered including a set of treatments that will make you feel rejuvenated. While all treatments can be given separately, carefully elaborated packages allow visitors to indulge completely. |
