Halcyon Game Lodge is situated at the most northern tip of South Africa in the heart of the Limpopo Province, two hours’ drive from Polokwane. The lodge is also only 20 minutes from Mapungubwe National Park, one of South Africa’s World Heritage Sites.
Halcyon Game Lodge is a rustic luxury self-catering tented camp nestling on top of a sandstone ridge in the mopani bushveld north of the Soutpansberg. A perfect weekend getaway or overnight stop.
The camp comfortably sleeps ten people and an additional two guests on request. All rooms have their own private bathrooms and are serviced on a daily basis. Linen and towels are provided in each room.
There are two boma's in the camp, each boma has a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, fridge, freezer, braai facility, fireplace and a plunge pool. The plunge pools can be filled on request. A great opportunity to spend the hot afternoon, sipping on an ice cold beer or a gin and tonic, relaxing in the pool. The kitchens are equipped with reverse osmosis water systems, proving drinking water. The lodge is also equipped with DStv and Wi-Fi.
The lodge also has the ultimate sundowner spot known as "The Office", which is a sandstone table and latte chairs, situated on the rocks creating the perfect setting to view wildlife and some of the most gorgeous sunsets one could ask for. |
