Oyster Beach in Westbrook Beach Reviewed by Helen Cuningham, South Africa on . Excellent, very good valueWe had a truly wonderful time at Oyster beach. The duplex (on the 1st and 2nd floor) was very comfortable, with simple stylish decor, and incredible panoramic sea views. We felt the accommodation was excellent value for money. The weather was mixed, but we swam in the pool come rain or shine (in true British style!). It was tranquil and peaceful (apart from our noisy kids!) and there were plenty of activities in the area. Apparently, most people don't swim in the sea directly in front of the house, but we had wonderful beach walks and the kids enjoyed collecting shells. For swimming, Umdloti beach is near by and is a lovely swimming beach (we didn't think much of the Ballito swimming beach). All in all, we had a wonderful family holiday and will definitely return.
Note: There are new rules around DSTV cards, so it looks like it won't work if you have a new card, unless you take your (new) decoder with you in future. We had an old card and thankfully Multichoice were able to get it to work, as it was an old decoder at the apartment.
