A 150 metres from the sun-drenched beaches of Guinjata Bay, guests at Casa Madeira can enjoy the magnificent view of the warm Indian Ocean, while reclining in the shade of a swaying coconut tree and listening to the waves lap the shore.

Casa Madeira offers four separate luxury furnished houses with private braai areas, air-conditioned bedrooms, and full en-suite bathrooms. The houses has fully equipped kitchens and sitting rooms with DStv access. Up to six guests can be accommodated in each house.

The Sante Fe Beach Bar and Restaurant offers all guests a truly unique experience. Along with a full bar catering for favourite local and South African beverages including beer, wine and spirits. Our sundowner cocktails made with fresh fruit are the perfect way to end a great day with us here in Mozambique. During peak season come party the nights away with bon fires, great local bands and organised events that keep the beach buzzing.

Casa Madeira <p>Our stay was average, it was very disappointing to see that since our stay in 2013 there has been no upkeep on the houses and this is very evident. The roofs were leaking in numerous places, a temporary plan was made to fix it only after we had complained.  When you are a paying customer these issues should have been addressed before our arrival.  There is no manager to welcome you or to address any issues with.  The two employees that work there are very helpful and certainly try the best that they can but they can only do so much.</p>
