Pemba Misali Beach Resort is a newly established hotel located in Wesha, South West Coast of Pemba Island. For those who wish to relax and enjoy the quietness and untouched nature of Pemba Island, then this is the place to be. The resort land is in a shape of a circle and in high tide the place becomes like a little island surrounded by water. The resort is only 15 min drive from the Chake Chake Airport and 45 minutes from the seaport.
At the resort you will find tastefully decorated rooms, a bar, two restaurants and one modern conference hall which can accommodate up to 300 delegates. High speed internet access is complimentary within the hotel premises. We also have a dive centre and an excursion desk where we can organize all kinds of tours around the island.
The hotel has three restaurants, namely Mangrove Restaurant, Jet Makungu Restaurant and the Pirate Restaurant on the cliff. Breakfasts are served in the Mangrove Restaurant, which consists of a buffet of fresh fruit, eggs, variety of breads, and fresh juice. Lunches and dinners usually served at the Jet Makungu Restaurant and are a combination of local cuisine and international food. Seafood is always a specialty here. All dinners and lunches are served from the a la carte menu. The Pirate Restaurant, which located on the cliff at the far end of the hotel, can be ideal for those who prefer more intimate dinner.
The diving around Pemba is nothing but breathtaking. The untouched coral reef surrounding the entire island makes Pemba one of the top diving sites in the world. Pemba has the most spectacular and healthy reefs in East Africa. We have coral covered walls, coral strewn reef slopes, and enormous, healthy bommies and fans that are surrounded by reef fish.
