Description
Vredelust B&B is a charming retreat in the beautiful village of Villiersdorp, situated near the Theewaterskloof Dam and within walking distance of the town.

Accommodation offered comprises three en-suite Double Rooms and four quaint Self-catering Units. All the rooms have DStv and tea and coffee-making facilities. Safe and secure parking is available within an electronic gate. we have braai/barbecue facilities.

The four Self-catering Units all comprise open-plan double bedrooms with fully equipped kitchenettes. Extra beds are available for a child sharing with parents on request. Breakfast is served on request in our dining room adjoining a sitting room where guests can also relax.

Explore the beautiful countryside surrounds of Elgin and Villiersdorp and the Theewaterskloof Dam is ideal for boating and water sports enthusiasts.

Johanna was thoughtful, kind and helpful, and little touches like home-made rusks in your room make all the difference. I'll definitely stay there again.

I had a self-catering unit, which was large, extremely comfortable, and had everything you could want for a relaxing and peaceful stay (down to the rusks for the morning and hot chocolate for the nights). The service was also spot-on, and my room was thoroughly cleaned in a flash while I was out for breakfast, ready for me to enjoy it all over again each day. Vredelust is also perfectly located - close to everything, but far enough that you cannot hear the traffic on the main road - and I took a number of stunning pictures of the surrounding mountains and greenery. Highly recommended!
