Description
All Africa J Bay Lodge - Backpackers Jeffreys Bay is located right in the centre of Jeffreys Bay, within safe walking distance of shops, restaurants and entertainment.
The lodge offers clean, comfortable, budget accommodation with quality, duvets, pillows and sheets supplied with ample bathroom facilities. Accommodation consist of dorms, twin rooms, and en-suite double room and camping facilities around the bon fire. There is private girls only bathroom and dorms available for privacy and comfort of the ladies. A fully equipped self-catering kitchen is available and guests can order some traditionally cooked meals from the restaurant, which also caters for vegetarians. Laundry pick-up services are available.
Take a stroll from the lodge to the main beach in search of dolphins and whales on your way to a must-do surf lesson by qualified instructors. Various other activities can be enjoyed in the area such as sand boarding, horse rides on the miles of unspoiled beaches, kite- or windsurfing or join a township tour. Do the highest bungee jump in the world or take a tour to one of the many game farms in the area such as the Addo Elephant Park or just relax on the beach soaking up the sun.
After all these activities why not relax in the bar enjoying a drink over a game of pool or just chat about your day with the rest of the crowd. Feel free to sit around the bon fire or just chill in the lounge reading a book or watching a movie. Take a splash in our pool.
Should you want to make a difference while in Africa, join one of our volunteer projects in Jeffreys Bay while staying at the lodge; the Jeffreys Bay Surf School Volunteers teach local disadvantaged children to surf and basic life skills, the Jeffreys Bay Community Volunteers help out in local township schools assisting children getting a better education and life skills, the Wildlife Sanctuary Volunteers work with animals at the wildlife rehabilitation sanctuary. Another option is the new Wild about Horses project.

All Africa J Bay Lodge - Backpackers Jeffreys Bay in Central Jeffreys Bay Reviewed by Nomandla Hopa, South Africa on . The lodge isnt bad at all, its quite nice. Its a real Backpacker. What I'm particularly unhappy about is SafariNow. I used a voucher to pay part of the accommodation fee. When I got to All Africa, they never received my booking, they only put me down on their diary when I contacted them. Secondly, All J Bay said they dont even know how Safari works and required I pay R650 for 2 nights, whereas SafariNow said R350 is for 2 nights. On top of that, we were made to sleep in an outside room with 2 single beds with sponges, as opposed to the Double Room I had originally booked with a double bed. In future, i would rather book accommodation directly with the provider, never again with SafariNow.
