Description
Magaliesberg Mountain Lodge is a large three bedroom thatched lodge tucked away up, high in the Magaliesburg mountains, with breath-taking views towards Hartebeespoort dam. The property is ideal for families and outdoor enthusiasts.

The unit offers three spacious bedrooms, two bathrooms and a fully equipped living area with kitchen, bar and lounge. Other facilities include a fantastic swimming pool, large lapa and outdoor furniture, open fire cooking, pond and water features. The pool is not enclosed and caution is advice for parents with children that cannot swim. A snooker table, darts and Jacuzzi can be used with prior arrangement. Domestic servants who stay nearby clean the lodge on a daily basis.

The lodge is situated within a group of un-fenced farms allowing game to move freely across an 800Ha area. Game that could be spotted at the lodge includes giraffe, eland, kudu, zebra, impala, water buck, klipspringers, baboons etc. Stepped tracks allows for a pleasant hike to the top of the mountain. A well-known hike to the famous castle gorge with rock pools and waterfalls starts close to the lodge.

The lodge is fairly high in the mountains and the road is rocky in a few places. It is not suitable for vehicles that have a low clearance.
