Description
The Mongena Game Lodge is situated in the malaria-free, northwestern section of the Dinokeng Game Reserve. It is a convenient 30-minute drive from Pretoria. This fantastic lodge guarantees a bush safari without equal for the international business or leisure traveller.

The accommodation consists of 25 tastefully furnished chalets providing single, double and twin, or family accommodation with private bathrooms offering baths or showers. All chalets are positioned amidst rolling lawns and indigenous landscapes in close proximity to the restaurant, pool and bar area. Each unit has coffee and tea-making facilities as well as satellite TV programmes.

Wildlife is high on the agenda at Mongena. We offer early morning and late afternoon game drives with experienced rangers taking you to the best rhino sightings imaginable. At the end of the day, indulge in a feast at the á la carte Kingfisher Restaurant whilst enjoying spectacular views over the lake and the plains of the Dinokeng Game Reserve.

Game drive was a little disappointing, very few animals located, seems as if their main attraction is 2 elephants, a little misleading to claim that they have the big 5 when in fact the whole Dineokeng possible has the big 5 but not specifically in Mongena.
