Grunau Chalets is built next to the Shell filling station, a welcome haven and overnight facility for the tired traveller. Situated at the conjunction of the main roads from Windhoek, Cape Town and Johannesburg, lies the little town of Grunau.

There is a resourceful restaurant with delicious homemade pies, a kiosk, a curio shop and a terminal for the Inter Cape Mainliner buses from Windhoek, Cape Town and Johannesburg.

We offer comfortable rooms with their own bathroom, air-conditioning, barbecue facilities, as well as safe parking. There are two Double Rooms, two Family Rooms, and four campsites. For the caravan traveller there is a well-equipped park with a private ablution area.

Very pleasant stay Grunau Chalets were the most spacious and best equipped of the 9 different rooms we stayed in during our trip in Namibia. Much attention was given to detail which was mostly lacking in other places.It proved to be very good value for money and we will definately stay there again<div><br /></div>
