Description
Misty Creek Guest Farm was originally known as Chiltley Guest Farm - a famous watering hole for weary travellers with ox wagons in the 1800's. The farm was once owned by a retired British soldier during the Victorian era.

We have two Campsites with an ablution block and six Fisherman Cabins; three of the cabins have their own bathrooms and three share an ablution block. There are three Cabins with their own bathrooms and there are four Colonial-style Units; two with their own bathroom and two share an ablution block. Each unit can sleep a maximum of six people and we are able to arrange the beds to accommodate your stay.

The swimming pool, Sunday lunches and caravan sites are very popular. We now offer so much more and we provide a pleasant family outing which includes picnics, birdwatching, a pub, good food and live music. Catering for everyone, we offer various accommodation options including bed and breakfast units, self-catering units, bungalows, dorms and camping.

Misty Creek is well-known as the “Breeder of Wolf Dogs”, both in KZN and countrywide. Pups are transported to various clients. We can provide hundreds of referrals. We are situated close to popular viewing sites and hiking trails in the Oribi Gorge Nature Reserve and Lake Eland Game Reserve. We are also in close proximity to bass dams and the ever popular annual Paddock Fishing Competition.

Misty Creek Guest Farm in Paddock Reviewed by sophia niemand, South Africa on . A bit of a misleading concept if you expected a rustic, peaceful camp site with quality ablutions for the price offered: The "wolves" were unfortunately a pack of breeding? dogs howling during the night against the back drop of traffic sounds close by on the N2. The ablutions were tired and seemed unhygienic, thus we tried avoid using it, although we were the only guests on the premises for our one night stay. Situated in a wonderful scenic area which absolutely grants a visit, but for us at a different venue next time. The hosts where very friendly and welcomed us warm heartedly.
Misty Creek Guest Farm in Paddock Reviewed by Viljoen Malan, South Africa on . a Bit like camping, but without your own tent Overall its not to bad, but beware that it is only self catering on request. The cabins are not equipped and you have to ask for everything or bring your own. Great for a low budget, no thrills stay.
