De Herberg guest house is built in the old Cape Dutch style and is situated in a quiet part of Porterville. The guest house offers luxury bed and breakfast accommodation in four individually decorated rooms, with breakfasts and candlelit dinners served in the dining room.

The guest lounge is an ideal place to relax as it is equipped with satellite TV and plenty of books to read. Sundowners can be enjoyed on the veranda or in the shady garden next to the pool, and Internet, e-mail and fax facilities are also available. In addition, ample off-street parking is provided for guests' peace of mind.

Porterville is a quiet town located at the foot of the majestic Olifants River Mountains. The area is popular for paragliding, hiking and mountain biking trails.
