Description
Leave behind the hassles of modern life and join us on 800 hectares of open space in two secluded Karoo cottages. Our cottages have warm, romantic, cozy fireplaces for winter, and gas-operated stoves and geysers.

Our farm is situated on the R27 20 km outside the quiet, crime-free country town of Vanrhynsdorp, bounded by mountains to one side, with views out over the quartz plains of the Knersvlakte, and close to the Olifants River wine route. Spring-time brings the fabled wild flowers of Namaqualand whenever precious rains have fallen.

The cottages are self-catering. There is braai facilities are available at the cottages.

Die huisie is baie goed toegerus met die prentjiemooi uitsig en namakwaland blomme as die natuur se tuin om jou . Vroeg word jy wakker gemaak met die geroep van voels om te besef jy is in n plek van vrede en rus. n Wonderlike herinnering wat ons nooit sal vergeet nie . Baie dankie Jannie en Mariaan Vosloo
Lankverwacht Gasteplaas/Guestfarm in Vanrhynsdorp Reviewed by Rosario Douglas, South Africa on . excellent location, nice cottage We stayed two nights at this lovely cottage and wished we had stayed longer.  The cottage is well appointed and very private.  You can walk around the farm and see some of the many nice succulent plants.<div>The skies were very dark and we had some of the best star gazing during our 32 day trip here.  We were able to do a bit of astro-photography while staying here.</div><div>Not far from the town if you need to get anything.  The water has a bit of a taste so it is best to bring plenty of drinking water.  Other than that everything about this place was great including our friendly hosts. <span style="line-height: 1.5;">A relaxing and quiet place in a beautiful setting.</span></div>
