Skildpadvlei cottage offers self-catering accommodation with all the modern facilities. This cottage is ideal for getting away from the hustle and bustle of city life and just relaxing in the serene and tranquil surroundings of Velddrif. The cottage has four en-suite bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances, a Jacuzzi and a lounge with TV and DStv.

Velddrif is one of the small fishing villages that are part of the West Coast where the visitors are greeted with silence, space to explore, and where time slows inexplicably. Velddrif lies just a few kilometres from where the Berg River meets the sea at St Helena Bay.

Die kombuis is great toegerus. Die braaiers en Jacuzzi was deur almal gebruik. Die staff is baie behulpsaam en vriendelik en het ons werklik dit baie geniet! It is a wonderful house to stay at! The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious. The kitchen was well equipped. The braais and Jacuzzi were used and enjoyed by all. The staff are very helpful and friendly and ensured we really enjoyed our stay.
