Description
This is a fully furnished self-catering cottage located in the village of Sutherland, in the remote area of the Karoo. It is the perfect place to experience the slow, quiet pace of a small community.
It consists of two bedrooms, a bathroom, a fully-equipped kitchen and a sunroom with a built-in braai facility. There is a TV with satellite channels, heaters, linen and towels, and tea and coffee-making facilities. Board games are provided to pass the time and there is secure on-site parking available.
Many guests travel to Sutherland specifically to gaze at the amazing night skies and also visit the South African Astronomical Observatory. It is also one of the coldest towns in South Africa with regular snow falls in winter, making it a great place to experience a snowy fairy-tale world.
This is a strictly non-smoking and no pets are allowed establishment.
Regrettably no children under the age of 12.

Ons is warm verwelkom deur Edna, met n mooi gedekte tafel, n pot groentesop, en n warm tuisgemaakte broodjie , en kersie op die koek, elkeen n glasie sjerrie! Alles skoon en netjies, en , al wat kortgekom het, was die koue en sneeu vir die naweek. n Reuse pluimpie vir ons "gasvrou" en iemand om op staat te maak. Sal beslis aanbeveel!
