Description
Angels Rest Guest Farm lies within the Greater Garden Route National Park and Floral Kingdom of the Cape near Plettenberg Bay. It offers self-catering farm accommodation with an emphasis on peace and tranquillity.

We offer a well equipped cottage that sleeps five guests comfortably with beautiful views over the farmland and forest. Our farm is surrounded by fynbos, forest, birds, wildlife, nature and free-range farm animals, including horses and chickens. Enjoy fresh farm eggs for breakfast and sample fresh farm produce and recipes.

Our forest is mainly pine and blackwood with some indigenous trees; the fireflies bring magic in spring. Porcini mushrooms grow under pine trees after rain, which are delicious fried in butter for the ultimate farm breakfast.

Charming cottage, quiet and peaceful Well equipped and clean, interesting to have the horses around, close enough to the N2 to take you to Plett or Knysna within 15 mins.  Authentic small holding stay.  Cottage heats up in sunny weather, but cools down fast enough with all doors and windows open.  Loved it to spend time here!

Liz warmly welcomed us as we arrived and were even treated with a basket of goodies which was really unexpected and so thoughtful. Merlin's cottage is just the place if you are looking to rest and recuperate... surrounded by the beautiful surroundings and horses that freely roam the farm added that something special! With two small children this cottage was ideal! Fitted with all the home comforts. Liz has gone out of her way to make your stay enjoyable and comfortable as possible. We've been to many similar accommodation types but there is definitely something uniquely different about Angels Rest - you will not be sorry! Thanks again Liz, see you next year again!
