Matlala Aloe Park is situated on the banks of Arabie Dam, 30 km from the N11 and near the Schuinsdraai Nature Reserve. This beautiful park offers a quiet camping area for guests with or without tents, and those with caravans. Day visitors are also welcome to the park.
The camp ground is located near the banks of the dam, and include electrical point braai facilities and 11 modern ablution facilities. There are a selection of Army style tents ready for occupancy. These tents come complete with beds and mattresses. A utility box with kitchen appliances are available on request, at an additional fee.
The park includes a swimming pool area with two cold water pools. No swimming is permitted in the dam as it is infested with crocodiles. There is a fully stocked shop and bottle store onsite. Guests are welcome to bring their boats. |
