Description
Set in the heart of Gaborone is the Brackendene Main Lodge. The lodge offers bed and breakfast accommodation in 20 en-suite bedrooms.

The lodge also offers conference facilities and has a restaurant on the premises to provide meals on request. The lodge is only five minutes away from the main shopping mall in Gaborone.

Internet available by reception area and conference room only. Tea and coffee facilities are available in the rooms, tea and coffee sachets are available at reception at extra cost, and a laundry service is also available.

Brackendene Main Lodge in Selemelo Extension 2 Reviewed by essie esterhuysen, South Africa on . Air Safari to Botswana and Vic Falls <p>Took 14 guests there for two nights on route to the Okavango. I was very disappointed and shocked at what we found. No lounge area no descent dining area no proper kitchen. Very filthy carpets and passages. Shocking state of bathrooms covered in Black mold. Old and dilapidated furniture and fittings.</p> <p>Breakfast consisted of cereals' and a choice of only eggs on white bread cooked on a little pan on a gas stove. Only once we arrived we found that this establishment  has only a one star rating.</p>

Did not honor reservation paid through Safari Now I had a confirmed 2 night reservation paid in advance through Safari Now. On arrival I was told my payment would cover only one night. Even though I was able to show my Safari Now receipt that stated 2 nights paid in full, I was charged much more. In addition, the Air Con in my original room did not work and it took two attempts to get another room. The staff treated all guests as if they were a nuisance and any request for meal service, taxi etc was greeted with sighs and grumbling.
