Description
Sabi Star Chalets are nestled in a secluded valley on the banks of a sparkling mountain stream, 3 km from Sabie in the heart of the Mpumulanga waterfall wonderland. Awaken to the sound of the clear mountain stream cascading from its bubbling fountain source, winding its way through tree ferns and moss to join the Sabie River on its ultimate course through the Kruger National Park.

Accommodation is supplied in our quaint, rustic two, four, five or six-sleeper chalets. All chalets are fully equipped with linen, crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils and all necessities. Own bath, dish and swimming towels are required. All chalets have their own private bathroom as well as private braai area with firewood supplied.

The chalets are serviced daily, except for the washing of the dishes. Laundry can be arranged at an extra cost with your own cleaning supplies. We pride ourselves on the cleanliness of our chalets and the friendliness of our staff.

Spend the day lazing around the swimming pool, which is heated during the winter months, or strolling through the lush gardens enjoying the many species of bird life. For dedicated hikers there is the Crested Eagle hike. At the end of the day return to Sabi Star for a braai and a peaceful evening around your camp fire. Should it be raining, you can enjoy the self-catering Boma facilities with the dry pub and communal braai areas.

Sabi Star Chalets in Sabie Reviewed by Jennifer Christensen, South Africa on . Misty little heaven The sound of the gurgling river soothes away all stresses and the impossible green gardens make you think of fairies and elves. Perfectly situated 3kms from Sabie and close to all the natural visitor spots, we had a brilliant time and will definitely stay there again. The owner is friendly and helpful and the prices are very reasonable.
