Meriba Adventures offers rustic self-catering accommodation on a dramatic Karoo farm located between Oudtshoorn and Beaufort West. From the N12, it is a mere 29 km journey on a gravel road to Meriba.

The Karoo is one of South Africa’s most interesting places. This semi-desert offers a wonderful experience, anyone who has spent a night under the starry Karoo sky can vouch for that. The Karoo lets everybody feel at home and when you walk through the vegetation, you will experience the beauty of the landscape, bushes and rocks surrounding you.

Meriba Adventures offers self-catering accommodation in a wooden house that can sleep up to 16 guests on double beds and bunk beds. Bedding is also supplied. The bathroom contains a shower and toilet and there is also an outside bathroom with a shower and toilet, as well as a fully equipped kitchen and large dining area. Outside is a large boma braai area with a dining and relaxing area, and there is also a farm swimming pool.

For motorbikes and quad bikes, we have a hand-made course and veld-ways to enjoy. In the Karoo, mountain biking is one of the sports that is getting very popular. Here it can be enjoyed to your heart's content, in a secure environment, and there are many farm roads and also motorbike routes. There are more than enough routes for hiking, one of the most popular being 1.6 km. So come and see this safe and relaxing environment for yourself, it is just the place for the adventurous.
