The Woodpecker Inn offers the comforts of country living, nestled in a park-like setting in Birdswood. Whether on business or leisure, the inn offers a comfortable stay in a peaceful and tranquil environment.

The inn provides guests with a choice of staying in lovely Twin Rooms or Double Rooms with en-suite bathrooms. The rooms are furnished with either comfortable twin or double beds and each room is air-conditioned and equipped with a Satellite TV and a telephone.

Guests can enjoy delicious full buffet or á la carte breakfasts in the on-site restaurant, The Peck Inn Room, and light evening meals are also available. Coffee and tea are provided throughout the day and The Peccadillo Cocktail Bar is fully licensed for guests to enjoy a drink at the end of the day or relax around the pool and in the lapa. Secure parking is provided and there are two conference venues equipped DVD or CD players, flipcharts, white boards and data projectors; they seat between 40 and 110 delegates.

Richards Bay offers a range of attractions and activities such as fishing, birdwatching, surfing, swimming and canoeing. Guests can also take a scenic drive, visit the various nature reserves or play a round of golf at the Empangeni Golf Course which is just a short drive away.

The people are friendly and the houses are very neat. The room services every morning are excellent. Thank you for our good stay we will come again!
