Kanya is a privately owned lodge inside the Mabalingwe, a Big 5 game and nature reserve situated 28 km from Bela Bela and 140 km from Pretoria.

Tucked away in the bush with four en-suite bedrooms, you can sit on the patio and watch game come right up to the lodge. A private pool, a boma and an open braai facility completes the picture. Plus there are bush showers so one can really experience nature.

Kanya is the ideal lodge for a quiet getaway from city life.

We welcome our guests, but we do request the highest respect for Nature, the Animals and our Property. Kanya lodge is not available for parties (matriculation parties, year- end parties, bachelor parties, etc). No music allowed. The noise disturbs the bush life and the neighbours.
