Die Sandkasteel, or “Sand Castle”, is located a mere 50 m from the beach, offering a unique location on an endless white beach that is ideal for whale watching. Die Sandkasteel is situated in the colourful fishing village of Struisbaai on the southernmost tip of Africa, where the Indian and Atlantic Oceans meet.

Struisbaai offers a wide range of marine activities, such as scuba diving, rock angling, whale watching, and charter pleasure trips, while L’Agulhas National Park offers guests unique fynbos and bird-watching experiences.

Die Sandkasteel in Struisbaai Reviewed by Robby van den Heuvel, South Africa on . The stay at the Sandkasteel was a pleasure. The host Alta is so nice and relaxed that it makes you feel at home immediately. The great Dane "Rommel" is also quite an experience to meet. We will be back definitely.
