This sunny cottage is located within 1 km from the beach, offering ample accommodation for six guests and is ideal for a family vacation.
Situated in the seaside village of Kleinmond, at the foot of the Kogelberg Mountains, this spacious cottage features three bedrooms, all with bedding and towels provided, as well as a spacious living area. The lounge area is comfortably furnished with ample seating and leads out to a small patio and garden area with lovely views onto the Kogelberg Mountains.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, crockery and cutlery. The living room has a TV with local channels, a DVD player with plenty of DVDs as well as a music system with a range of CDs. There are some books and board games to choose from. There is a spacious bathroom to share with a bathtub, a basin and a shower, with a separate toilet. Laundry facilities include a washing machine and ironing facilities. The cottage has a spacious garden with a portable braai and garden furniture. There is plenty of off-street parking available.
There is a variety of restaurants, souvenir shops, funky art galleries, old furniture collectables, clothing shops and a pottery studio along Harbour Road, as well as the Kleinmond information centre. The beach has a Blue Flag status with life guards and offers lovely picnic spots, a braai area and a play park for kids.
Visitors to Kleinmond have access to safe swimming in the lagoon and river, horse riding on the long stretch of beach, jet skiing, surfing, scuba diving, fishing or just sunbathing. Small boats can be hired at the lagoon where you can watch the vast variety of bird life as well as wild horses.
The beautiful Palmiet River offers high-adrenaline adventure sport and activities such as canoeing, tubing, kayaking, river rafting, boating or jumping from an overhanging cliff into the river. The mountain offers a host of activities such as hiking, paragliding, abseiling, rock climbing, bird watching as well as enjoying the rich flora and fauna in the Kogelberg Biosphere Reserve. |
