Description
Mount Etjo Safari Lodge will recharge your spirit with a combination of luxurious accommodation, tranquil surroundings, magnificent scenery and spectacular wildlife in an unspoilt wilderness.

The lodge comprises 22 private luxury rooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom. Most rooms are equipped with a whirlpool Jacuzzi amongst other modern conveniences. At Camp Dinosaur we offer a comfortable camping experience for travellers down at the waterhole. Campers are welcome to participate in all activities offered at Mount Etjo.

Our game drives in open vehicles are an unforgettable African wildlife experience. We have elephant, black and white rhino, zebra, hippo, and many different species of antelope. After sunset guests have the wonderful opportunity to also observe the lion and leopard feeding from a close distance. Game walks are offered, mainly to the famous Dinosaur footprints, dating back 230 million years, described as Saurichnians.

Mount Etjo Safari Lodge in Kalkfield Reviewed by Martina de Jager, Namibia on . Campside Dinosaur Easter 2013 Our stay on the Campside was unexpected unpleasent. Not only because of the bad weather (Rainseasen was lately arrived what we were very happy about for Natur). We like to mention some changes that should made at the campside: the Lapa as you prescriped should get a small Roof, as Lapa is expected with a Roof ! the Table fixed , as already half way sank in the sand from one side and as an result very uneven ( Campside No. 1 ) Powerpoints closer to Tent/-Camp Aerea, where it can be used to connect a fridge or extra Lamp, while Lights only at the Bathroom and inside the Braii Area . Wood should get covered with Plastic in Rainsaeson( we couldn't use it while it was lying in the open and completly wet. With all these little, not very expensive changes you could make a Camper very happy at your 'otherwise' very nice Campside. We had every evening the problem: not to get the fire going while it started raining and the fireplace is completly open. not finding a nice place to sit and stay dry as possible. not able to attach the fridge as the powerpoints far away, almost in the bush.
