Kaisosi River Lodge, situated 7 km east of Rundu on the banks of the Okavango River, offers complete relaxation and a true African experience. This peaceful oasis, which can be reached in a normal sedan vehicle, is an ideal place for nature lovers and bird-watchers to spend a few fulfilling days.

The Kaisosi River Lodge is situated in the North East of Namibia, on the banks of the perennial Okavango River and en the route to Popa Falls and the Caprivi. Rundu is one of Namibia's most beautiful landscapes and is a unique spot to visit. Spectacular sunsets, friendly people, comfortable accommodation and fine cuisine makes the Kaisosi River Lodge a must for all travellers.

Great spots for fishing and birds-watching are available along the river. Guided fishing trips as well as river cruises on the Kavango River can also be arranged.

Accommodation consists of luxury thatched chalets, which are available as single, double or family units, all with en-suite bathrooms. Mosquito nets are provided. The campsite caters for groups of campers and caravanners, as well as for individuals and groups who require their own ablution facilities. Kaisosi also offers a luxurious swimming pool and bar area, just what you need to recharge your batteries after a long tiring journey.

Delectable meals are served in our thatched restaurant. We take our guests on sundowner cruises every evening and will be happy to arrange a floating breakfast on the river if required. Spending a few days at Kaisosi River Lodge will make your visit to Namibia's water-rich North East complete.
