Description
Shiwa Ngundu Estate offers comfortable fully catered accommodation in the heart of northern Zambia. The new owners in 1999 lovingly took on the restoration project for the house and whole estate. The house now retains its former glory. This is depicted throughout the house, bedrooms and estate.

Guest can stay in the main house which has five double rooms all with en-suite facilities. Guest can explore the building and enjoy meals in the dining room. Breakfast is served after the morning activities and consist of a full English breakfast and a choice of cereals, farm produced fruits and yoghurts. The typical light lunch consist of cold meats, salads and bread. In the evenings a sumptuous three-course meal is served in the origan dining room. We encourage guests to enter the spirit of this wonderful building and be presentable for all meals to really feel part of the history of the house.

The Impandala House is situated just ten minutes' drive away from the main house. The farm house has four bedrooms and is ideal for those who would like a self-catering option. A chef can be arranged on request to assist with your meals.

There are plenty of activities at Shiwa Ngunda Estate. Guest can enjoy game walks, game drives, birdwatching, horse riding, boating, forest walks, historical walks and much more. A tailor-made itinerary can be planned to suit all clients and can happily include visits to the local hot springs and organise trips to Northern Luanga National Park.

We recommend guests use insect repellent and cover arms and legs during sunset and wear long sleeve tops and trousers for the evenings. It is highly recommended that all clients seek medical advice from their doctor prior to travelling with regards to inoculations and prophylactics.
