Situated at the eastern gate of the Khutse Game Reserve, just a three hour drive and 220kms north-west of Gabarone, this luxury lodge is located along the final frontier, your last stop before entering the renowned Central Kalahari Desert and Central Kalahari Game Reserve.

Khutse means "place to kneel down and drink", and we invite you to drink in this beautiful part of the world in all its style and magnificence.

Here at the Khutse Kalahari Lodge our sunrises, sunsets and starry nights are like no other. As we have no light pollution and access only via 4X4, you will encounter the splendour of the African sky in all its majesty.

In a unique African architecture, the lodge accommodates guests in 24-thatched rondavels, of which two are family rondavels. Each comes with an en-suite bathroom and offers a stylish décor.

Khutse also has a conference or function room that can seat up to sixty delegates. This facility is supported by our restaurant.

The main lodge is situated on the highest point in the area with an elevated bar and deck which allows for panoramic views over the surrounding bush and waterhole. We also offer the only swimming pool in the Kalahari Desert.
