Description
Lavender House is situated in Port Alfred, 100 m from the river and 150 m from restaurants, a health shop, quaint gift and décor stores, hotel and cocktail bar. All of these are within easy and safe walking distance. Lavender House offers the ultimate in laid-back beach house holiday accommodation. The house is let as a self-catering unit and sleeps between 8 to 10 people, tastefully decorated with beautiful Tribal Textiles products from Zambia.

The house comprises four bedrooms and three bathrooms, an open-plan fully equipped kitchen, two lounges and a dining area, and an outdoor entertainment area with a fire-pit as well as a fully enclosed garden. There is secure off-street parking, a ramp for wheelchairs and prams.

Lavender Room is where you will find our on-site beauty therapist who will soothe away your city stress with calming massages and treatments using top quality products.

Lavender House also runs a barge for relaxing river cruises- an ideal way to see our local birds, watch the sun set, or rise, and take in the spectacular vegetation that the Eastern Cape is famous for. Unique to Lavender House, a magical massage or reflexology session can be booked on the barge while making your way up the river.

The magnificent beach is 1 km down the road. Six malaria-free game parks are to be found in the area and for the sporty there is the Royal Port Alfred Golf Course, tennis, bowls, boating, canoeing, deep sea fishing and diving available. Airport transfers can be arranged as we are ideally situated 150 km Port Elizabeth and 130 km East London.
