Just a one-hour drive east of Cape Town you will find this modern, designer bed and breakfast, sandwiched between sea and mountain, overlooking the unspoilt village of Rooi Els.

We are located in the Kogelberg Biosphere Reserve and, apart from being in the heart of the Cape Floral Kingdom, it is close to numerous hiking trails, scenic drives, wine and protea farms. The beach and lagoon at Rooi Els provide safe swimming areas. Whales visit the area between June and November.

Wonderlings provides affordable luxury accommodation in two fully equipped penthouse suites. Each suite has a private lounge, en-suite bathroom, fully equipped kitchenette and balcony. The rooms are spacious and offer magnificent views of the sea and the mountains. Guests have their own entrance. The area is safe; thieving baboons are our worst criminals.

Wonderlings B&B in Rooi Els Reviewed by Peter Richardson, South Africa on . Wonderful views Wonderlings has a great situation with fabulous views across the bay. The welcome is warm, as is the hospitality. Rooi Els itself could do with a decent restaurant, but has a fine beach and nature reserve.
