Description
Three star self-catering accommodation in the heart of the garden route. Dragonfly Cottage is situated on three hectares of unspoiled coastal fynbos on the slopes of Herold's Bay. With 200m from the beach and 8km from the airport the cottage provides absolute privacy on a farm estate. Cottage sleep six people in two double beds and two single beds.
Of all the Garden Route towns, Herold's Bay is the closest to the George airport, only five minutes away. All the attractions of the town of George are only 20 minutes from Herold's Bay.

It is spacious, clean, well equipped and very attractive with its beautiful stained glass doors. It offers good value for money and is highly recommended.

A gem that was hard to find<p>We struggled to find Dragonfly Cottage due to absent street names, but the searching and anguish was worth it when eventually we found this gem of a place. The cottage is as large as a house, very well equipped, little touches such as lemon-scented soap, body lotion, and the only guest house with two-ply toilet paper (!!) made this overnight stay being placed at the top of our list. And not to forget the breakfast that was carefully set out in the kitchen, while it is not marketed as a B and B. Beautifully situated amongst thick vegetation and offering a vast view over the ocean makes one want to stay here forever. The friendly host, Leon, made us feel very welcome and added to the overall 200% we would rate this self-catering accommodation. </p><p></p>
